Horse Therapy and EFT Tapping – a magic combination! Did you know that you have been programming your nervous system your entire life! All the good, bad, and ugly is in there. While this can be handy at times, at other times it can be debilitating. EFT Tapping literally taps into your body’s nervous system where stress and your emotional responses are stored. By tapping on simple but specific points on your body while talking through your feelings, you can reset your nervous system response. It is such an empowering and freeing feeling! EFT Tapping coupled with Horse Therapy takes this to the next level! Horses are very intuitive and emotionally responsive to people. They are natural healers and energy readers. They are highly tuned to the Earth, the Sky, and the elements of nature that we have lost touch with but so desperately need in this modern, chaotic world. When I discovered this for myself, I knew that I wanted to share this with other people. Horses will call you back to yourself if you let them. About Kate I was a starry-eyed girl who was always looking up. I wanted to be an Astronomer. But, in school I ended up majoring in Computer Science. I was not particularly called to it or good at it, but that’s just where I ended up after navigating through the murky waters of young adulthood. Later, I worked at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I loved Tahlequah and Cherokee culture and felt very at home. I learned traditional archery and pottery making, which I treasure to this day. While there, I also “buckled down” like all good girls do and got a Masters in Business. But, again, it just didn't feel right. I was going through the motions. Trying to make things make sense and find my place when in reality, I just felt confused. I was walking around with a lot of dead weight. Eventually, my spouse and I moved to Georgia and I began taking art classes. I loved making art and quickly realized that all of my art seemed to be centered around trauma and unresolved personal experiences. Then, in 2012, I had a deep energetic healing experience which started the ball rolling to restore myself physically, spiritually, and emotionally. To bring back that starry-eyed girl! We all have stories and a winding road that can lead to wholeness and ultimate fulfillment if we are brave enough to dig out of the muck and mire of societal expectations and our own personal history. I have been there and I know how alone the road can feel. Sometimes you feel just plain dead! But you can do it! I’m here to cheer you on!
